Frequently Asked Questions
1. WHAT IS PAINTBALL?
It is a game of elimination. It is safe and fun and even scary. It is the
most exciting game you will ever play. You will be equipped with an
air-powered Paintball gun that fires a marble sized paintball just under 280
feet per second. That's over 200 miles per hour! And when it hits its target
the Paintball splats leaving a bright mark, eliminating your opponent from
the game. But they'll be back in the next game vowing to get you first. You
will also be issued safety-goggles that protect your eyes, ears, and face.
This mask must be worn at all times... this is the sport's most important
and enforced rule. The paintballs are non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble,
and completely biodegradable. It rinses out of clothing and off the skin
with regular soap and water. Your playground will consist of woods, ditches,
open fields, and bunkers. Under the watchful eye of referees, you and your
teammates will be trying to eliminate your opponents at the same time they
will be trying to eliminate you. Winning requires teamwork to complete the
game. Though there are dozens of types of games to play, elimination is the
most common. Games can last up to 10 - 15 minutes, depending on the game and
how fast players are eliminated. Between games, you will be sharing "war
stories" with teammates and opponents alike recounting the "thrill of
victory", or... the usually-funny "agony of defeat." Win or lose, everyone
has a good time and there is always the next game waiting to be played. If
you want action and adrenaline, there is nothing like being part of the
great outdoors and experiencing the rush of Paintball!

Actually paintballs are not paint at all. It is non-staining, non-caustic,

simple soap and water, and taste just about as bad.
7. DOES IT HURT?
Nobody ever quits because it hurts too much! Getting hit does not hurt most
of the time, however every once in awhile it could sting or leave a bruise.
We encourage players to cover up any exposed skin.

EQUIPMENT?
